Oh! Hi. Ummm, this really is just a personal design system. Built by designer / developer Ste Grainer. For, you know, personal projects that he works on. Seriously, who does that?! Apparently, that guy. I guess.

Well, since you obviously stumbled into this project, you should know. Ste isn’t litigious about using stuff like this of his. If you find it useful, have at it! Maybe, just, you know, let him know and share the love. Absolutely don’t try to copy this and claim this work as your own. That’d be a real jerk move.

Technical bits #

This is built on 11ty, which is being renamed Build Awesome. I think? Regardless, it’s a pretty easy to use, kinda cool static site generator. You can build it locally or, if you’re feeling peckish, somewhere else too.

Where’s the Figma?! #

Hoo boy! About that … well, like I said, it’s a personal design system. For a single person. Who generally prefers designing in code as opposed to making pretty pictures then recoding those pretty pictures into working code. So, uhh, well … I have bad news for you here. There’s no Figma. There probably won’t ever be. Need something like that? There’s a billion other places to start. Have at it! Maybe someday this’ll change. (It likely won’t.)
